Norfolk - Mrs. Aliene Brooks of 15 W. 30th St., the widow of Henry E. Brooks and
a native of Norfolk, died Dec. 18 in a hospital.

She was a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Odom of Norfolk, Mrs. Jearline
Griffin of Portsmouth, and Mrs. Joyce Askew of Chesapeake; three sons, William
L. Brooks, Nathaniel R. Brooks, and Alton O. Brooks of Norfolk; 30
grandchildren; and 11 great grandchildren.

A funeral was held Dec. 22 in Bethlehem Baptist Church by the Rev. L. P. Watson.
Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
