Norfolk - A funeral service was conducted last Saturday at Tabernacle of Divine
Healing and True Holiness Church for Mrs. Sarah Jane Brooks of 1030 Mead Road.

A native of Rockingham, NC, she was a daughter of Harrison and Mrs. Crania
Campbell and the wife of Leroy Brooks. She was a choir member, a missionary, and
usher.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a daughter, Miss Hattie Brooks of
Norfolk; three brothers, Thomas Campbell of Norfolk, Leroy Campbell of Candor,
NC; and Andrew Campbell of Maryland; four sisters, Mrs. Louise Smith and
Margaret Keys of Washington, Mrs. Mary B. Rower of Maryland and Mrs. Hattie
Perry of North Carolina; and eight grandchildren.

The funeral was conducted by Bishop Alston of Tabernacle of Divine Healing and
True Holiness Church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in
charge.
