Final rites for Mrs. Eloise Brooks will be held Feb. 15 at the Mt. Pleasant 
Baptist Church with the Rev. H. H. Crews, pastor, officiating.

She was a native of Norfolk and lived at 206 Filbert street. She died Feb. 6 in 
a local hospital.

Surviving her are her husband, Fred Brooks; one son, Nathaniel Brooks of New 
York; two daughters, Mrs. Pearl B. Sands, Norfolk, and Mrs. Shirley B. Day of 
Fairfield , CA and five grandchildren.

Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Riddick Funeral Service in charge.
