Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Wednesday, October 10, 1990 
Maude Celeste Brothers, of the 3700 block of Wedgefield Ave., died Oct. 7, 1990,
in a hospital.

Mrs. Brothers was a native of Marion, S.C. She was a member of St. Mark United
Church of Christ, the N.A.A.C.P., Ingleside Civic League and League of Women
Voters.

Survivors include her husband, Roland Brothers; two daughters, Kathy E. Brothers
and Jennifer R. Brothers, both of Norfolk; her mother, Ida M. Fogan of Florence,
S.C.; a sister, Sarah McClees of Norfolk; and a brother, Robert Q. Fogan of New
York City.

The funeral will be conducted at noon Thursday in St. Mark United Church of
Christ by the Rev. Thomas Hart. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and
friends will assemble at 11 a.m. at 3744 Wedgefield Ave., for the procession.
Metropolitan Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
