Brothers, and son of the late William and Mrs. Angeline Brothers, died at the residence at Hickory yesterday (Saturday) at 12 o'clock noon. Mr. Brothers was a native of Camden County, N.C., and a resident of Hickory for the past ten years. He was a member of Good Hope M.E. Church and Princess Anne Social and Friendship Lodge. Besides his wife he is survived by four daughters, Mrs. J.T. Tatem, of Pleasant Ridge, Princess Anne County; Mrs. A.F. Bauman, of Long Beach, Calif; Mrs. Bertha Carroll, of Washington, D.C., and Mrs. Lettie Sawyer, of Norfolk; three sons, Luther A., and John L. Brothers, of Hickory, and Robert E. Brothers of St. Brides, and 23 grandchildren. Funeral services at H.D. Oliver's Funeral Apartments, 610-612 East Freemason street, Norfolk, tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
