Price, 417 West Twenty-seventh street, apartment 2, yesterday morning at 10 o'clock after a very long illness. She was a native of Pasquotank County, N.C., and had been a resident of Norfolk for the last 55 years. She was the widow (daughter) of the late Martin and Mary Caroon. Mrs. Brothers was a member of the Colonial Avenue Methodist Church. In addition to her daughter, Mrs. T.C. Price, she is survived by three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be conducted at the Cox Funeral Home, 631 Westover avenue, tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. John F. Owens, pastor of Colonial Avenue Methodist Church, and the Rev. J.L. Blassingham, will officiate. Interment will be in Magnolia Cemetery. ***************** Mrs. Sarah Caroon Brothers - Funeral services for Mrs. Brothers, who died at the residence of her daughter, Mrs. T.C. Price, 417 West Twenty-seventh street, Apartment 2, Monday morning, were conducted at the Fox (Cox) Funeral Home yesterday morning at 11 o'clock. The Rev. John F. Owens, pastor of Colonial Avenue Methodist Church and the Rev. J.L. Blassingham, officiated. The services were well attended and there were many floral tributes. The casket was covered with a pall of white chrysanthemums, stevia and fern. The pallbearers were A.W. Petty, J.C. Haskett, N.G. Holland, C.I. Sherlock, W.C. Cruett, C.E. Morrisette and Arthur D. Jakeman. Interment was in the family plot in Magnolia Cemetery.
