The death was very sudden, Mr. Brothers having awoken several times during the night and appeared as well as usual. Mr. Brothers had been an invalid for twelve years prior to his death. Dr. Farmer, in view of Mr. Brothers’ sudden death, examined the body and decided that an inquest was unnecessary. The deceased leaves a widow, Mrs. Susan Brothers, and a number of sisters and brothers. The funeral will take place today at 2 o’clock from the residence in Shenandoah avenue. The services will be conducted by the Rev. J. W. Barrett. The interment will take place in Elmwood Cemetery.
