She was a native of Camden County, N.C., and had made her home in this section 75 years. She was the daughter of Thomas and Mrs. Jestine Burgess Forbes and widow of Isaiah Edward Brothers. She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Mattie E. Perkins, of Butt Station; Mrs. Jessie Milby, Portlock, and Mrs. John Swink, Portlock; one son, Paul L. Brothers, of Norfolk; 16 grandchildren and five great- grandchildren. The body was removed to the Graham Funeral Home, Jackson and Jefferson streets, South Norfolk, where funeral services will be conducted tomorrow afternoon at 3 o'clock. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
