Norfolk Virginian Pilot Tuesday, December 11,1951
Joseph Jonathan Brothers, Jr., 43, of 1407 Bainbridge Boulevard, South Norfolk,
died yesterday at 8:27 p.m. at a Norfolk hospital after an illness of a day.

A son of the late Joseph J. and Mary Gilbert Brothers, he was a native of
Northwest, Norfolk County, and resided in this section all his life. He was a
member of the South Norfolk Presbyterian Church.

He is survived by five sisters: Mrs. L. I. Chappell, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Fannie
Linton, Mrs. J. R. Rice, Mrs. R.L. Dillon and Mrs. W. L. Dillon, all of South
Norfolk.

The body was taken to the Graham Funeral Home, South Norfolk, where funeral
services will be held tomorrow at 3 p.m. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
