Norfolk Virginian Pilot January 15, 1953
Mrs. Kate Morris Broughton, 74, widow of Temple G. Broughton, died at the 
residence of Mrs. D.W. White, 3 Riverside Drive, Ingleside, yesterday at 1:15 pm 
while visiting.  
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Douglas W. Bennett and a son, Morris Newman 
Broughton, both of Norfolk; two sisters, Mrs. C.G. Constable, of Norfolk and 
Mrs. Lawton L. Inabinet, of Arlington, a granddaughter, Mrs. Robert Isackson and 
two great-granddaughters, Karen and Kristan Isackson.
Mrs. Broughton was a lifelong resident of Norfolk and resided at 9518 Wells 
Parkway.  She was a member of Epworth Methodist Church.
Funeral services will be conducted at the Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home tomorrow 
at 11 a.m.  Burial will be in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
