Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 16, 1944

William J. Brown - Funeral services for Mr. Brown, of 216 East Berkley 
avenue, who died in a local hospital Thursday night, will be conducted this 
afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley.  Burial will be 
in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.

William J. Brown - Funeral services for Mr. Brown, of 216 East Berkley 
avenue, who died in a local hospital Thursday night, were conducted 
yesterday afternoon at 3 o'clock in the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley, by the 
Rev. David C. George, rector of St. Bride's Episcopal Church.  Pallbearers 
were Laurice Parron, Jesse Miltaire, L. K. Lashiell, S.S. Cobb, Sr. S.W. 
Wooten and D.B. Scarbury.  Burial was in Magnolia Cemetery.
