Henry Brown of 3117 Airline Turnpike, Portsmouth, died June 5 at home 
following a short illness.

Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m.June 9 at Hale's Funeral Chapel 
with the Rev. Z. P. Jenkins, pastor of Union Congregational Christian 
Church, officiating.

Mr. Brown, a native of Tarboro NC lived in Norfolk about 27 years. He was a 
veteran of World War I.

Mrs. Hattie Brown, his wife, survives.

Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
