Funeral services were conducted Nov. 13 for Mrs. Elizabeth Langston Brown, who 
died Nov. 11 at the home of a niece, Mrs. Linwood Washington, 1526 Conoga 
street. Burial followed in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Chatman Funeral Home in 
charge.

Mrs. Brown, daughter of James and Mrs. Pleasant Ann Langston, was a resident 
of Ann Arbor , MI, for 20 years where she held membership at Second Baptist 
Church. Due to ill health she returned to Norfolk, her native home, and 
rejoined First Baptist Church, the Rev. Noel C. Taylor, pastor.
