Virginian-Pilot October 13, 1992
Jane Nicholson Brown, 70, of the 800 block of First Colonial Road, died Oct. 10, 
1992, in a hospital.
Mrs. Brown was born in Norfolk. She was the widow of Quarles J. Brown and was an 
Episcopalian.
Survivors include a daughter, Martha J. Reed of Washington, D.C.; and her parents, 
Gladys Alexander Nicholson and Clyde P. Nicholson, both of Virginia Beach.
The body will be cremated. A graveside interment will be conducted at 11 a.m. 
Thursday in Elmwood Cemetery, Norfolk, by the Rev. James Sell. Cox Funeral Home, 
Norfolk, is handling arrangements.
