Norfolk Ledger-Dispatch April 17, 1909
Walter A. Brown died this morning at 2 o’clock at the residence of his mother, No. 
23 Seventeenth street, Park Place, aged 28 years. The deceased was a native of 
Norfolk and the son of Mrs. Emma P. and the late Washington A. Brown. The funeral 
occurs at 2:30 p.m. tomorrow from the above residence, Rev. Geo W. Swope, of the 
Central Baptist Church; Rev. E. E. Dudley and Rev. C. C. Ryan, the latter of the 
Memorial Christian Temple, officiating.
