The New Daily Pilot May 9, 1897
The funeral of Mr. W. A. Brown, the unfortunate man who was decapitated on the 
Lambert’s Point terminal Thursday night, took place yesterday morning from his 
residence, No. 228 Fenchurch street, and was largely attended. The interment was 
in Elmwood cemetery. Pickett-Buchanan Camp, Confederate Veterans, of which the 
deceased was a member, attended in a body.
