Olive Cemetery, Norfolk. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. at Fisher Funeral Home. The Rev. Eldo Roberts, assistant pastor of Shiloh Baptist Church, Norfolk, officiated. A native of Portsmouth, Mr. Brown was the son of Morris and Mrs. Diana Brown. He had been a choral singer for about 30 years, and was employed 36 years as housekeeper at the YMCA. He sang a number of years with some widely known choral groups, including the old Excelsior Quartet of this area; the Peerless Jubilee Singers of Philadelphia with whom he traveled in the early twenties, and the Hiram Simmons Glee Club of Portsmouth. He was also at one time soloist at a local radio station. His survivors are his wife, Mrs. Edna Brown, and three sisters. Additional Comments: Mt.
