Norfolk Journal and Guide, May 6,1939
Plummer Brown, 64, of 1120 St. Julian Avenue, died at his home April 16 and his 
funeral was held from Pentecostal Holiness Church with Sister M. E. Bray in 
charge on April 19.  He was a native of North Carolina and had lived here for 
thirty years.  He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Bettie Brown.  Interment in 
Calvary Cemetery.
