Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - February 16, 1992
Lillian B. Brown , of the 800 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died Feb. 13, 
1992, in a hospital. 

Mrs. Brown was born in Portsmouth. She retired from the Southeastern Virginia 
Area-Wide Model Program after 10 years and was a member of First Calvary Baptist 
Church and the Elks. She was the widow of Charlie Brown . 

Survivors include a son, Lawrence Battle of Heathsville; four brothers, Vernon 
Battle and Clyde Battle, both of Norfolk, Herman Battle of Vallejo, Calif., and 
William Battle of New York; three grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. 

A memorial service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in First Calvary 
Baptist Church by the Rev. J.L. White. The body will be cremated. Graves Funeral 
Home is handling arrangements.
