Norfolk - Funeral services were held for Mrs. Julia Parham Brown, 42, of 2025 
Woodland avenue, in Bank Street Baptist Church by the Rev. J. B. Henderson Feb. 
28.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Rodgers Funeral Home in charge.  She 
died Feb. 25.

Mrs. Brown was an instructor at Norfolk State College.

A native of La Grange, GA, Mrs. Brown was a daughter of the late Hunter Parham 
and Mrs. Nancy Parham and the wife of Dr. Paul L. Brown.

She had lived in Norfolk for four years and held membership with Bank Street 
Baptist Church.

Other than her husband, she is survived by a son, Julian Z. Brown;  and three 
daughters, Pauletta Louise Brown, Gloria Jean Brown and Nanola Katherine Brown, 
all of Norfolk;  a sister, Mrs. Louise P. Webb of Washington;  and two brothers, 
Isham Hunter Parham and Melvin Luther Parham of Washington.
