Norfolk - Mrs. Wincie Brown of 620 Charlotte street, the widow of Ernest Brown, 
died in a hospital after a short illness.

A native of Chesterfield County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Will Collins 
and Mrs. Hattie Blair.

She was a member of Christ Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Elizabeth Lankford of Norfolk, Mrs. Corine 
Baker of Jefferson, SC, and Mrs. Irene Fletcher of Detroit, and 14 
grandchildren.  Graves Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
