Norfolk - Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Jenette Brown of 2944 Hollister avenue 
were held Wednesday in St. John AME Church.  Burial was in the family plot of 
Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.  She died March 14 in a  
hospital.

The Edenton native was the widow of John Brown and a daughter of the late J.  and 
Mrs. Kissiah Craton.  Mrs. Brown was a member of St. John AME Church.

Surviving is a granddaughter, Mrs. Geraldine Everett of Norfolk.
