Osborne, 1704 East Olney Road, yesterday morning at 6:40 o’clock after an illness of three weeks. She was the widow of Caleb F. Brown and daughter of the late Robert M. and Mrs. Elizabeth Murden Shipp, and in addition to her daughter is survived by a grandson, Thomas F. Osborne, Norfolk. She was a native of Princess Anne County and had been a resident of Norfolk for 45 years. The body will be taken from the residence to the funeral home of E. Lee Cox & Bro., 631 Westover Avenue, for funeral services Friday afternoon at 3:30 o’clock. The Rev. L. R. Black, pastor of Chesapeake Avenue Methodist Church, will officiate. Burial will be in the family plot in Cedar Grove Cemetery.
