E.P. Brown Rev. E. P. Brown, a retired Episcopal minister, well-known in this community, in which he has resided for a number of years, died at his home on Main street yesterday afternoon at 12:30 o'clock, aged 80 years. The deceased had a number of relatives and many friends here, and the announcement of his death will be painful intelligence. As before stated Mr. Brown was a retired minister, but for thirty years previous to his removal to Berkley he had charge of a church at St. Simons' Island, Ga. He leaves a wife and three children, two daughters and one son, to mourn his death. The funeral will take place at 1 p.m Saturday from St. Paul's Church. *********************************************************************** Funeral of Rev. E. P. Brown The funeral of this divine took place yesterday afternoon at 1 o'clock from St. Paul's Episcopal Church and was largely attended. The services were conducted by Rev. Robert Gatewood, rector, assisted by Bishop Randolph and Rev. Dr. Barten. There were nine Episcopal clergymen present and the services were of the most impressive character. The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: C.J. Colona, J.F. Dalby, C. Bliven, T.J. Dashiell, C.H. Williams and J.J. Ottley. The interment was in Magnolia Cemetery.
