Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - June 30, 1991

Estelle Essie Brown, 85, of the 100 block of Sunrise Ave., a retired maid, 
died June 26, 1991, in a hospital.
Mrs. Brown was born in Norfolk. She retired from the Monticello Hotel after 
54 years. She was a former member of New Calvary Baptist Church and the 
widow of Walter Brown.
Survivors include a daughter, Romanza M. Jones of Portsmouth; four 
grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Magnolia 
Cemetery by the Rev. James Anderson. Family and friends will assemble at the 
grave at 10:45 a.m. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
