The Virginian Pilot (Norfolk Va) Tuesday January 1, 1952
Richard Maynard Brown, 22-month-old son of Arthur L. and Mrs. Ruth Bassett 
Brown, of 3912 Parker Avenue, died yesterday at 1:20 a.m. at a Norfolk 
hospital.
Besides his parents, he is survived by one brother, James David Brown of 
Norfolk; his maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. J. Allen Bassett, of Norfolk; 
his paternal grandmother, Mrs. Mary Gladys Brown, of Portsmouth; his maternal 
great-grandmother, Mrs. Patty Tisdale; three aunts, Miss Louise Tisdale, Mrs. 
Austin Carter, of Norfolk, and Mrs. Norris Smith, of Portsmouth.
Services will be held at the H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments tomorrow at 1:30 
p.m. by the Rev. Taylor Willis, rector of Christ and St. Luke's Church. Burial 
will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
