The following gentlemen acted as pallbearers: Ira Wilkinson, Andrew Mehegan, C.E. Davis, D.E. Trower, T.P. Bulluck, G.W. Toms, J.E. Lassiter and Edward Church. The floral offerings were numerous and beautiful, a design of the "Gates Ajar," surmounted by a white dove, and a floral pillow, presented by the employees of the Southern Telegraph Company, being extremely handsome.
