Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, December 12, 1993 
Claudine Brown, of the 2700 block of Vincent Ave., died Dec. 9, 1993, in a local
hospital.

Mrs. Brown was born in Norfolk and was a member of The Way of The Cross COGIC,
Norfolk.

Survivors include her husband, Robert J. Brown Sr.; three daughters, Deborah
Brown, Veronica Brown and Claudine E. Brown; and three sons, Robert J. Brown
Jr., Antonio Brown and Lloyd Brown, all of Norfolk; three sisters, Mildred
Downing of Boston, Mass., Catherine Sumler of Norfolk and Annette Wright of
Akron, Ohio; a brother, Lafayette Rainey Jr. of Norfolk; and 11 grandchildren.

A funeral will be conducted at 1p.m. Tuesday at The Way of The Cross COGIC by
Elder Lewis Hines. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . Family and friends will
assemble at the residence at noon Tuesday. A wake service will be held in the
chapel from 7 to 8 p.m. Monday. Hale Funeral Home is handling arrangements.
