NORFOLK - Charles Edward Brown, 60, of 1283 Dusche Ave., retired after 20 years with
Local 1248, International Longshoremen's Association, died Wednesday in his home.

A native of North Carolina, he was the husband of the late Mrs. Mary F. Brown. He
was a Baptist.

Survivors include a cousin, Mrs. Bernice Gordon of Norfolk.

A funeral will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Riddick Funeral Chapel with burial in
Calvary Cemetery.
