Troy L. Brown, of the 1400 block of E. Tanners Creek Drive, died June 17, 2005.  A 
native of Norfolk, , he was a welder for SERCO.  Survivors include his daughter, 
Tajar Short; mother, Lois B. Brown; two sisters, Kim P. Brown and Jacquelyn Green; 
a special friend, Shaunda Short; a special aunt, Barbara Woodhouse; an uncle, 
Sayeed Mu'min; two aunts, Doris McCleese and Joyce Hursey; three nephews, Jonell 
Brown, Zarquis Brown and Anthony Brown; a niece, Stephanie Brown; and a host of 
great-nieces, -nephews, other relatives and friends.  He was predeceased by his 
father, Julius Brown.
A funeral will be held Monday at noon in the Basilica of St. Mary of the 
Immaculate Conception by Father Ernest Belinda.  Burial will be in St. Mary's 
Catholic Church Cemetery.  Graves Funeral Home is in charge.
