Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Friday, May 14, 1993 
Daisy Brown of the 5400 block of Bayberry Drive died May 10, 1993, in a local
nursing center.

Mrs. Brown was born in Bethel, N.C., and was the widow of Lester Brown. She was
a member of New Mount Zion Church of God Holiness in Norfolk.

Survivors include a granddaughter, Leonthia Avery of Norfolk; a grandson, Donald
Jones of West Orange, N.J.; seven great-grandchildren; two
great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews.

A funeral will be conducted at noon Saturday in New Mount Zion Church of God
Holiness by the Rev. Clayton Hall. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The
family will assemble at 5463 Bayberry Drive, Norfolk, by 11 a.m. Saturday. The
body will be taken to the church at 10:30 a.m. Saturday. Hale Funeral Home is
handling arrangements.
