A native of Currituck County, NC, she was a daughter of Mrs. Mattie Williams Jenning, and the late Rufus Jenning. She had lived in Norfolk most of her life. Her husband is active in Masonry and an instructor for schooling of Doric Lodge 44, A.F. & A.M. She was a member of the Baptist Church at Princeton and a former member of Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. Besides her mother and husband, surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Carnan Summe, of New York City, and Mrs. Lee Guidry, of Indiana, and two grandchildren. The body will be brought to the Sykes Funeral Home, Berkley. Funeral services will be conducted Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Berkley Avenue Baptist Church. Burial will be in Riverside Memorial Park.
