NORFOLK — Margaret Otellia Brown, 70, of 354 E. Brambleton Ave., a native of 
Norfolk, died Thursday in a hospital.

Mrs. Brown had retired as a barber. She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church 
and Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include her husband, Thomas Alexander Brown Sr.; two daughters, Helen- 
M. Lester and Portia T. Brown, both of Norfolk; two sons, Thomas A. Brown Jr. of 
Baltimore and Hiawatha L. Brown of Chesapeake; and seven grandchildren.

The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Thursday in Twilight Funeral Home, 
Norfolk Chapel, by the Rev. Walter Davis. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.

Visitation will begin Tuesday in the funeral home. The family will assemble at 
12:30 p.m. Thursday at the residence.
