Norfolk - A funeral service was held for George Brown of 712 Elmwood avenue
Sunday in Graves Fuuneral Chapel. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery. He died March
11 in a local hospital.

Mr. Brown was a son of the late Henry Brown and Mrs. Louise Brown and the
husband of Mrs. Nannie Jones Brown.

A native of Sea Island, Ga., he was a member of United Christian Church.

Survivors include a stepson, John Jones of New York; and three stepdaughters,
Mrs. Madge Pratt of Norfolk and Mrs. Gladys Hayes and Mrs. Mary Jones of New York.
