Mrs. Mary E. Brown, widow of the late Rufus Brown, died Aug. 9 at her residence,
817 Lincoln Street, South Norfolk.  Funeral services were held Aug. 15, at St.
Thomas AME Zion Church with the Rev. Mr. Beaman,pastor, officiating.

Mrs. Brown is survived by three sons, Wesley, Jack, and John Brown;  and two
daughters, Mrs. Beulah Manley, and Miss Elenora Brown.

Interment was in Mt. Olive Cemetery with Fitchett’s Funeral Home in charge.
