Norfolk - Boston L. Brown of 2427 Middle Ave., the husband of Mrs. Amanda G.
Brown, died May 9 in a Virginia Beach nursing home.

A native of Norfolk County (Chesapeake), he was retired from Norfolk Naval
Shipyard after 23 years.  He was a member of Usher Board 1 of First Calvary
Baptist Church.

Besides his widow, survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Marie B. Patterson of
Virginia Beach and Mrs. Gladys B. Scott of Chesapeake;  and a son, Bernard L.
Brown of Virginia Beach.

A funeral service was held May 11 in First Calvary Baptist Church by the Rev.
Johnnie White.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
