Norfolk - Joseph (Joe) Brown of 2720 Virginia Beach Blvd., the husband of Mrs.
Grace Walker Bell Brown and a native of Norfolk, died April 8 in a hospital.

He was retired from Rosenburg and Virginia Cleaners. He was a member of Antioch
Baptist Church and the Senior Male Usher Board.

Other survivors include a stepdaughter, Mrs. Dorothy Saddler, and a stepson, R.
Randolph Bell, both of Norfolk; a Brother, James Brown of New York; and a
grandchild.

A funeral service was held April 11 in Antioch Baptist Church by Dr. I. Joseph
Williams. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery with Hale Funeral Home in charge.
