Lemuel L. Brown, died Aug. 10, 1998.

Mr. Brown was a native of Norfolk and was predeceased by his wife, Hilda W. Brown.

He is survived by his sister-in-law, Mabel Brinkley; nephews, Wilbert Clanton
and Anthony Hill; nieces, Linda Trotter, Marion Hill, Angela Davis, Phyllis Hill
and Adriene Payton; and a host of great-nephews, great-nieces, relatives and
friends.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Calvary Cemetery by Dr.
Donna Payton. Viewing will be held from 3 to 6 p.m. today at Carlos A. Howard
Funeral Home. The family will assemble at the cemetery at 10:45 a.m.
