Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Sunday, July 19, 1998 
Sarah E. Brown, formerly of the 2400 block of E. Virginia Beach Blvd., died July
16, 1998, at Sentara Norfolk General Hospital.

Born in Norfolk, she was a homemaker and the widow of Benjamin Brown. She was a
member of C.H. Mason Memorial C.O.G.I.C.

Survivors include her goddaughter and niece, Joyce Vann of Norfolk; two sisters,
Margurite T. Hewitt and Elouise T. Lee, both of Norfolk; a brother, Lemeul
Taylor of Norfolk; and a host of other relatives and friends.

A funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Carlos A.
Howard Funeral Home by Bishop Anthony Moses. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery
. The remains will be ready for viewing at 3 p.m. Tuesday. The family will
assemble at the funeral home at 10:30 a.m.
