Atlanta, GA - Julian Z. Brown of 255 Flamango St., a son of Paul L. Brown of
Norfolk and the late Mrs. Julia P. Brown, a doctoral student at Harvard
University, died Monday in West Paces Ferry Hospital.

His father worked for Norfolk State College many years.

Besides his father, survivors include his stepmother, Mrs. Lorene B. Brown of
Norfolk, three sisters, Miss Nanola K. Brown of Atlanta, Mrs. Pauletta B. Bracey
of Ann Arbor, MI, and Mrs. Gloria B. Nichols of Newport News, VA.

After a funeral in Atlanta today at 11 a.m., at Alphonso Lawson Mortuary, the
body will be sent to Graves Funeral Home in Norfolk, where visitation will be
after 6 p.m. Thursday.

A second funeral will be held Friday at 3:30 p.m. in Bank Street Memorial Church
by the Rev. J. C. Griffin. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Norfolk. The
family will be at the home of an aunt, Mrs. M. C. Myrick, of 5809 Layton St.,
Virginia Beach.
