Virginian Pilot and The Norfolk Landmark July 21, 1921

Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Brown, 56 years old, wife of Willard E. Brown, died yesterday 
afternoon at 4 o'clock at her residence, 308 West Twenty-sixth Street. She is 
survived by her husband, seven sons, J.P., W.H., H.H., H.G., E.W. and C.A. Brown 
of Norfolk and E.L. Brown, of New York; one daughter, Miss Annie Brown, of 
Norfolk; one sister, Mrs. D.P. Reid, Sr., of Norfolk; and one brother, Albert S. 
Dozier, of Norfolk. 
Funeral services will be held tomorrow morning at 11 o'clock at the residence. 
Burial will be in Elmwood Cemetery.
