Norfolk Landmark, Sun., Feb. 12, 1893, pg. 1

The funeral of Miss Sarah Millson Brown, daughter of the late John D. Brown, 
took place at 12 m. yesterday from the residence, No. 122 Cumberland Street and 
was conducted by the Rev. W.S. Lacy, D.D., pastor of the Second Presbyterian 
Church. The interment was in Elmwood Cemetery, and the following gentlemen were 
the pall-bearers: Messrs. W.H. Hannnah, A.B. Broughton, Nimmo Ghiselin, John 
Reynolds, Edward Hammill, W.W. Lawrence, I.H. Payne and L.A. Beckham. The 
floral designs were numerous and very beautiful.
