Virginian-Pilot, The (Norfolk, VA) - Saturday, September 26, 1992 
Thomas Henry Brown of the 3300 block of Lens Ave., a retired maintenance 
mechanic, died Sept. 22, 1992, in his home. 
Mr. Brown was born in Ivor. He was the widow of Helen Brown. 
Survivors include a daughter, Elizabeth Woodley, and a son, Thomas M. Land, 
both of Norfolk; three sisters, Doris Thomas of Norfolk, Ruby Brown of Hampton 
and Catherine Mann of Richmond; eight grandchildren and three great-
grandchildren. 
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday in Magnolia Cemetery by Elder 
Queenie Barton. Family and friends will assemble at 10 a.m. in Graves Funeral 
Home.
