Shawn Annette Brown, 37, of the 3900 block of Cape Henry Ave., died Feb. 3, 
2004. A native of Norfolk, she was a food service worker and a housewife. She 
attended Booker T. Washington High School. She is survived by her husband, 
Michael Brown; a daughter, Michelle S. Brown; her mother, Evelyn S. Blankenship; 
five sisters, Pamela Williams, Debbie Williams, Patricia Hill, Angles Williams, 
Deanna Coleman; an uncle, James Skinner; a great-aunt, Clara Summer; aunts, 
Gracie Skinner and Edna Smith; six nieces, seven nephews, and a host of cousins, 
relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father, Samuel Blankenship. 

A funeral will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in Graves Funeral Chapel by Dr. 
Patrick J. Key. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery . The family will receive 
friends at 842 Whitaker Lane.
