He is survived by five daughters, Mrs. R.V. Hugo, Mrs. J.E. Roberts, Mrs. F.R. Walker and Miss M.E. Brown, of Norfolk, Mrs. T.W. Upton, of Raleigh, N.C.; one son, F.M. Brown, of Norfolk, eighteen grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He was born in Portsmouth and all of his long life was spent in this section. He had been a resident of Berkley 53 years and was the last of the charter members of Chesapeake Tribe, No. 50, I.O.R.M and an active member of Armstrong Presbyterian Church. The funeral will be conducted tomorrow at 4 p.m. from Armstrong Presbyterian Church and the burial will be in the family lot in Magnolia Cemetery.
