Norfolk Virginian April 14 1891


The funeral of Mr. Wilber L. Brown, who died at the retreat for the sick, took pl
place at the Union Christian Chapel, Highland Terrace, 11 P.M. Sunday morning an
and was largely attended. The service was conducted by the pastor, Rev. C.J. Jo
Jones. The interment took place in Elmwood Cemetery, the burial being with Ma
Masonic Honors by Ruth Lodge, which was in attendance.
The pall-bearers were; Masons- R.T. Jacobs, R.C. White; Painters Mr. Hammill, C
Charles Whitehurst; Church- A. Miellez. Wm. J. White.
