Funeral SUNDAY AFTERNOON at 3 o'clock from the Queen Street M.E. Church, of which he was a member. Friends and acquaintances invited to attend. ********************************************************************** Mr. Moses Brown, whose death occurred Friday night at 11:10 o'clock at his home on Maltby Avenue, extended, leaves a widow and six children to mourn their great loss. He was engaged with the Virginia Insurance Company until he was taken sick some weeks ago. His funeral will take place today from the Queen Street M.E. Church, the pastor, Rev. J.W. Moore, officiating. Norfolk Virginian Sunday March 8, 1896 *********************************************************** The funeral of Mr. Moses Brown took place from the Queen Street Methodist Church and was conducted by the pastor, Rev. J.W. Moore, assisted by Rev. E.B. McCluer, of the Park Avenue Presbyterian Church. The interment was in Elmwood. The obsequies were attended by Norfolk Lodge, No. 9, K. of P., of which he was a member. Mr. Brown was a past chancellor of the Knights of Pythias and his obsequies were attended by Norfolk Lodge No. 9, of which he was a member.
