Virginian-Pilot August 1, 1975
CHESAPEAKE - Mrs. Lillian Marinel Field Browne, 83, of 1020 Oaklette Drive, the 
widow of Archibald Burrow Browne and a native of North Chelmsford, Mass., died 
Wednesday in a hospital.
She was an Episcopalian.
Survivors include a son, J.E. Fairbanks of Chesapeake and a brother, George W. 
Marinel of Chelmsford; two granddaughters and a grandson.
A funeral service will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. in Elmwood Cemetery by the 
Rev. William C. Hoffman. Hollomon-Brown Funeral Home, Indian River Road, has 
charge.
The family will be at the funeral home tonight from 7 to 9. Memorial donations 
may be made to the King’s Daughters Children’s Hospital.
