VIRGINIA BEACH - Elsie Brown, 105, of the 3100 block of Shore Drive, a retired 
saleswoman, died Dec. 26, 1989, in a hospital.
Mrs. Brown, a Norfolk native, retired from Rices-Nachmans Department Stores after 
25 years.
She is survived by a great-grandchild.
The graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday in St. Mary’s Cemetery 
by the Rev. Joseph Lehman. Memorial donations may be made to the Ballentine Home, 
7211 Granby St., Norfolk. H.D. Oliver Funeral Apartments, Norfolk, is handling 
arrangements.
