The Norfolk Virginian Pilot December 5, 1949

Harry Elliott Brownley, 65, of Brunswick, Ga., died at his residence Saturday n
night at 10 o'clock. A native of Mathews County, he resided in Norfolk for 35 y
years and spent the past 10 years in Georgia. He was the husband of the late M
Mrs. Bertie Coburn Brownley, and is survived by one brother, Lloyd I. Brownley, o
of Georgia. He was a member of Doric Lodge No. 44, A.F. and A.M. The body will b
be forwarded to the Sykes Funeral Home and services will be conducted at Elmwood C
Cemetery today at 4 p.m.
